We are pleased to announce our invitation to the Leyland Round Table Bonfire & Fireworks Spectacular
where we will bring the skies above Leyland to life as we celebrate Guy Fawkes Night with our 38th Annual Bonfire & Fireworks
at Worden Park, Leyland on Wednesday 5th November 2008.

With more than 8,000 visitors, the event has become one of the North West's Premier public displays renown for its spectacular Fireworks with a large bonfire and a live DJ road show provided by DJ Paul K. There is also a Fun fair and food stalls selling a variety of food and drinks.
The Fireworks Display is run by a professional organisation on our behalf and our friends from St. Johns Ambulance and Lancashire Constabulary will also be present to make sure the whole evening is safe for adults and children alike.
As always, all of the profit from this event goes back into the local community, in the form of donations and grants to local groups, voluntary associations and individual causes. No member of Round Table takes any fee for arranging the event and this means the maximum amount of funding is available to those in need of some help.
If you are interested in learning more about one of the most successful Round Tables in the Region, please look further through our website for information about who we are, what we do, as well as how to ask for a charitable donation.
We couldn’t put on the event without the support of many local organisations - South Ribble Council, the Fire Service, St Johns Ambulance and Lancashire Constabulary who will also be present to make sure the whole evening is safe for adults and children alike.
We also take help from our friends in Leyland 41 Club and Leyland Ladies Circle.
We would also like to thank MDL Fireworks, Stanley Cubbins Fun Fair, Interserve, DJ Paul K, Anderton & Kitchen, Campbells Caravans, Haslam Printers, C and W Berry Ltd, MandR Hire Centre and Able Skip Hire for their support.
Also to those schools and shops who sell programmes prior to the event And of course - a massive thank you to yourselves, the people who come along on the night to enjoy the spectacular show and support this great event.
We look forward to seeing you there again this year.

Safety Advice
FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY
FIREWORKS • SPARKLERS • ALCOHOL
MUST NOT BE BROUGHT TO THE EVENT
Follow all Round Table / Safety Marshall’s instructions and keep to designated areas.
St. John Ambulance will be present. If First Aid is required, please contact a member of St. John Ambulance, the Police or a Round Table Steward. The St. John Ambulance post will be located between the Fun Fair and the Bonfire area. A lost children point will be located with Leyland Round Table in an enclosure adjacent to St Johns Ambulance.
Please remember - it will be dark, probably cold, and may be slippery under foot with autumnal wet leaves. Please come prepared and take care.
Fire works and Sparklers are not permitted, if you misuse fireworks you may be liable for an on-the-spot fine of £80. If found guilty by the courts, you could be fined up to £5,000
Parking Advice
Please note that for safety reasons entrance to Worden Park for vehicles will be closed, there is NO PARKING available throughout the day of the event.
With the large numbers of people attending the event, we recommend that visitors allow plenty of time to reach Worden Park and find parking in the surrounding areas. Other parking options are very limited and at least ten minutes walk from the Park. It should also be noted that all the roads into Leyland are very busy on the day of the Bonfire, especially Fox Lane, Church Road, Towngate, Langdale Road and Runshaw Hall Lane.
